Deliver Goods all over Nepal and all over the world. We operate the fastest channel of delivery
within Nepal. Here, we cover the major FAQ questions asked by vendors and customers on Nepal Can Move.

What are the number of branches?

Currently we have total 240+ branches all over Nepal. This is in increasing every month. We have a
plan to operate Branch over all local authorities within Nepal. We operate branch over 77 district
within Nepal.

How many branches does Nepal Can Move have in Kathmandu Valley?

NCM has five branches in Kathmandu Valley: Tinkune (Head Office), Chabahill, New Buspark, New
Road and Kalanki.

What is the average cost per delivery?

Delivery charge starts from Rs 70 for branch delivery and Rs 120 for home delivery inside Valley
and starts from 120 for out of valley charges are inclusive of VAT.

Is there any discount on prices?

Our price justifies our services. So, we are fixed on our price. We believe in Quality of service.

On Boarding Process and required documents for registrations

Either Vendors need to visit our Branch or our team will visit the location of Vendor to completethe onboarding agreement. This step establishes a formal understanding between NCM and the vendor.

Document Requirements:

  • Firm Registration
  • PAN/VAT Certificate
  • Passport-sized Photograph (1 copy, if applicable)
  • Citizenship Copy along with Passport-sized Photograph (1 copy, if PAN is not applicable)

Is there any pickup charges applicable?

Yes, if packets are less than 5 in Quantity at the time of pickup Rs15 per parcel is applicable.
Free pickup is provided if packets quantity is above 5 in number.

What will be the Pickup Time?

Pickup times are scheduled based on NCM’s operational feasibility. However, for big vendors, we can arrange a fixed time through mutual cooperation.

What are the type of delivery?

  • Door to Door: We pick up the packet from the vendor store and drop it off at the customer’s home.
  • Door to Branch: We pick up the packet from the vendor store and drop it off at the destination branch.
  • Branch to Door: Vendor must drop the packet to the nearest branch and it is delivered to thecustomer Home.
  • Branch to Branch: Vendors should drop the packet at the nearest branch, and we transfer it to the destination branch.

Procedures to transfer cash on delivery (COD) amount?

After the packages are successfully delivered, vendor has to request to transfer their money by raising
ticket from NCM portal or NCM vendor app. The amount will be transferred to vendor’s bank account
within next working day of request. If the Payment ticket is raised before 8 AM then the payment will
be released the same day.

How do you tackle with issues and problems regarding services?

NCM has a dedicated follow-up department to look after issues raised, beside that minor
problems are handled by representatives that has been dealing with vendors.

Which means of transportation do we use for delivery?

We use different methods for delivery.We use bikes and vans for Kathmandu Valley, buses and fleets for regional areas, and flights for more distant locations. Human Back and even “Khachhad” in the mountain regions.

What will happen if the packages are missing or damaged during delivery?

If a packet goes missing, NCM got vendors covered. NCM will fully compensate, showing our
dedication to accountability and keeping Vendors satisfied. If both the packet and its packaging sustain damage, you can make a claim of up to Rs. 5000. However, if only the item inside is damaged while the packaging remains intact, NCM will not be held liable for the damage.

What are the charge for exchange and return?

Exchange charge will be double the delivery rate as the item delivered will be back and again
returned to the same customer.
In case of return vendor will be provided with 15% discount on delivery charge for outside valley
and Rs 30 only will be charged for inside valley parcels.

What is the Packet Redirect process and Charge?

If a vendor mentions another vendor in the same branch in the comments, we’ll redirect the
packet to the next customer. There’s a small fee of Rs. 25 for redirection within the same branch.

What happens if the packet is delivered to another customer? Do customers have to pay an extra delivery charge for the correct delivery?

If NCM makes a mistake, Vendor won’t charge for the delivery. Instead, we’ll ask Vendor to send
the correct item to the right place, and we’ll take care of returning the packet from the wrong
location.

What is the average delivery time for a packet?

We deliver packages within the next day in major cities and areas touched by the Mahendra Highway. Delivery to hilly and mountainous regions will take an additional 1-2 days. Parcels originating from outside the Kathmandu Valley will take an additional day to deliver.

Is there any restrictions regarding dimensions of the package.

There are no restrictions on package dimensions; however, extra charges apply for packages with larger dimensions. We consider 1 shoes box equivalent to one unit.

Is there a packaging criteria?

There is no such criteria for packaging, but for fragile items the parcels needs to be bubble
wrapped covered by Cartoon wrapping to avoid future damages.

Max weight of the package acceptable by NCM.

NCM charges for one package cover up to 2kg. Additional weight will incur extra charges.No limit
on weight.

What is packet Return Process?

If we can’t reach the customer after 7-10 days of follow-up, we’ll either return the packet to the
warehouse for the vendor to collect or deliver it directly to the vendor.

Which department monitors the operations?

Respective branches handle the operation of their area.

“What medium do we use to communicate with vendors for their orders?”

Vendors will be notified about the status of communication through comments of respective
orders. Different issues like Customer unreachable, Exchange cases, Return Cases and change of
information of customers are notified through comments.
